Cove Data Protection Fair Use Policy – Data Protection Plan

Cove Data Protection fair use policy is to prevent fraud and abuse of the services. N‑able will monitor the services to determine if your usage exceeds the fair use limits. Unless otherwise documented in an order form, the following fair use policy is applicable.

Fair Use Limits – Selected Size

Selected Size is equal to the amount of data on the protected computer. When a customer licenses the Data Protection Plan (DPP), they are entitled to expanded usage of Backup Manager and the following fair use policy shall apply:

• Each physical or virtual server license adds 2 TB Selected Size to the included usage
• Each workstation license adds 500 GB Selected Size to the included usage
• Included usage is pooled across protected server/workstation data sources only

Note: The presence or absence of DPP does not affect Microsoft 365 fair use limits
