More time to mingle (Day 2 primer)

Marc Thaler

LONDON – Did you make the most of the opportunity to network with your managed service-providing peers during last night’s MAX Europe Customer Conference party? Regardless of your answer, you’ll have more time to mingle and talk shop today at Hilton’s Heathrow Terminal 5 hotel.

Before diving back in to conference keynotes and breakout sessions, GFI MAX is offering its “networking breakfast.” The breakfast runs from 8 to 9 a.m.

Here are a few more Day 2 details:

  • Sales coach Paul Kenny of Ocean Learning leads the keynote session, “Winning more business with marginal gains” from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
  • The speakers and their topics will vary. But there is one common denominator: Presenters have only a few minutes each to deliver their messages during the “Lightning talks” from noon to 12:45 p.m.
  • The popular Q&A segment “On your mind” takes place during a 75-minute lunch from 12:45 to 2 p.m.
  • Two hour-long breakout sessions are scheduled for the afternoon. Sessions start at 2 and 3:30p.m.

The complete conference agenda is available here. And here’s the link to MAX Europe’s scheduled speakers.
