MAXimize your network at the MAX 2014 Conference Series!

We’re busy making investments in our annual conference series. Last time I wrote, I talked about the deep technical content that our team is hard at work on. In upcoming posts, I’ll be talking more about the business, marketing and sales, and industry material we’re putting together, but today I want to focus on all the networking opportunities we’ll be providing.

NetworkingWe know that learning from your peers is a critical portion of the best events, and we’ve built our agenda intentionally to provide the maximum benefit from that criticial time. We’re bringing back our popular “On Your Mind” sessions, where via organized discussions you will get an opportunity to provide your insights into the direction of the industry, and hear from your peers as to common threads, insights, and themes, so you can leverage the collective community for critical business planning.

We’ve set up lounges for you to interact with our sales engineering and product management teams, ask those one-on-one questions and interact with one another. Learn from product experts and from your peers in discussions where we’ll have the products available for hands on demos and examples. These lounges will give you a great opportunity to interact with one another. In the US and in the UK, not only will there be product lounges, but CompTIA will have an industry, “vendor neutral” lounge where the community can come together and mix and mingle.

Networking 2After a long day of work, there will be opportunities to get to know one another, the MAX community, and our vendor sponsors at informal parties. Down under, the Australian event will feature a poolside reception and party, enjoying the beautiful location and venue with food and drink. In the US, we’re taking over Universal Studios with an offsite block party, bringing together food, drink and entertainment into a unique venue. In the UK, we’ll be hosting a party dedicated to the best in food and drink with a unique opportunity for “social dining”, and in Germany, we’ll be celebrating Oktoberfest. There will be opportunities for fun and conversation, building relationships that enrich business and personal relationships.

Each venue has been selected to accommodate those interactions, with breakfast, lunch and breaks laid out to help you meet and engage with your peers and the MAX community. From the views at the Mercure, to the open atrium in Orlando, to the world class restaurants and bars in London, to the state of the art facilities in Dusseldorf, we want to maximize your opportunity to learn from one another during the days and the evenings.
