The process of putting together education content for our MAX 2014 conference series continues to take shape as we move closer and closer to the events. Our previous conferences have been fantastic events, where we have focused on ensuring that our Partners receive the most relevant training and engagement that we can deliver.
With that, we have given considerable thought to how we can enhance that experience for the 2014 series. As part of our preparation, we’ve put together a technical track we believe will greatly benefit our Partner base.
For 2014, We’ll focus on a number of key sets of learning. Sessions this year will include a number of topics. Our State of the Nation session will focus on what (by September) will be recent and forthcoming releases, discussing two-factor authentication, branded SSL, the new flexible security model, maintenance windows, the new dashboard, device discovery, and additional insight into the upcoming roadmap.
A session on integrating security into your practice will feature how-to’s around web protection, managed Anti-Virus, patch management, and hacker checks, bringing together MAX’s unique security capabilities into a security offering, both stand alone or integrated into a larger MSP offering. Engineers will walk through configuration, implementation, and execution of these services.
MAX Mail and the integration platform that is App Control will be spotlighted, including how the various integration points offered by AppControl work. Attendees will learn how to combine services for maximum efficiency, and how management is done from this single pane of glass.
Deep dive content into MAX Backup and MOB will teach attendees how to leverage the feature sets of the backup products to fullest impact, including Bare-Metal restores with the new Virtual Disaster Recovery. Implementation tips and tricks to ease the process will ensure that technicians are leveraging the products to maximum efficiency.
We know how critical automation and scripting is to an MSP practice, and we’re spending time around implementing, using, and deploying scripts, using real life examples and lessons from our own scripting team. The intention is to help you learn how to be most effective with this powerful capability.
Our ServiceDesk product allows for management of ticketing and resolution of customer problems, and we’ll show how to best configure, use, and manage this new feature.
Finally, both in sessions dedicated to troubleshooting and throughout the entire technical agenda, we’ll ensure attendees learn tips, tricks, and lessons from our support team on the important knowledge of how to use MAX to the MAX.
