The GFI MAX team hit the road!

It’s a busy time as the warmer months approach. The days get longer, summer vacations give welcome time off, and thoughts turn to BBQ and nights out. That is, unless you’re some of the GFI MAX crew, as we’re hitting the road for a round of big events.
First, we’ll be at the Datto Partner Conference in Las Vegas from June 3rd to 6th. Taking place at the Aria Resort, I’ll be presenting a pair of keynote addresses. During the Advanced Technical Training Seminar, I’ll be doing a presentation on service delivery methodologies, focused on how to best help service organizations use systems to deliver high efficiency and higher profits.
On Thursday, I’ll also be delivering a second address to the entire conference, and this time will be focusing on the trends and direction we’re seeing the industry moving and how to take advantage of that. Positioning, opportunity, and direction are the conversation, leaving you with action items you can take back to your business right away. On Saturday, I’m meeting the other road team in Miami for Autotask Community Live. Sunday, we’ll be talking about industry trends with those attending the Autotask Accelerator Bootcamp, talking with business owners about how to drive more sales and profit in their business.
The next day, Alistair Forbes, the General Manager for the MAX Business Unit, will be delivering a keynote on IT diversification and the effect on MSPs. Alistair, who has been with GFI since the acquisition of HoundDog Technology (which he co-founded in 2004), is a leading expert in both SME and large corporate environments, with particular expertise in Internet technologies. His keynote, delivered immediately after Autotask CEO Mark Cattini’s presentation, will give MSPs insight into growing trends such as consumerization, mobility, and cloud.
Later that day, I’ll be back on stage delivering a session around cloud and mobility opportunities, and how MSPs can best deliver services that customers are demanding. Cloud awareness is higher than ever, driven by mobility and the diversity of devices available. Attendees will come away with practical knowledge of how to take advantage of these trends.
Finally, our own Eric Anthony of former MSP fame will be delivering a technology session on how to best use integrations between your PSA and RMM to maximize efficiency and delivery, building an end-to-end proactive service division. Armed with practical knowledge, MSPs will leave knowing how to best use their tool investment to boost their capabilities and profit.
